Nothing like Hawaii

The lagoon pool was the first thing I experienced at the Hilton Hawaiin Village. I will never forget the smells, the sights, and the beauty.

And this is the Infinity Pool. Wonderful place to sit and read the morning paper!

Surfers at 6:00

I never thought I would be a big fan of surfing. Hawaii has changed that. I Love their dedication to their craft often seen out at 5:20 am waiting on the next wave.

Morning walks in and around the beautiful resort

Kai coffee was the best I think I have ever had, especially given the location just one block off the ocean.

Walkway at Grand Waikikian Resort in Honolulu.

View from the porch of 17th floor condo.

This is a tree that sits in the courtyard of the perfect hotel in Honolulu, where I would stroll and lounge and drink my coffee. It is called the Moana Surfrider Hotel. It's hard to imagine a nicer settin for a hotel.

Morning walks took me by surfers, white caps, sand, and the clinking of morning cups and tea saucers. The morning energy in Waikiki is something I will never forget. The pink trolley sends the weary traveller like myself down to their distinction of choice on the white/gold sand of Waikiki.

Anniversary dinner at Halekulani

House befitting heaven.

Morning in Honolulu

It is just a wonderful thing to sit here and relax on the veranda of the Hilton Village. Fountains, water everywhere, the ocean ahead, and Palm trees scrapping the sky.

Karai Crab

Dinner was on a boat. It was our happiest meal as a family. The shrimp was super tasty, and the setting was even better. Karai Crab made for a memorable evening. And to top it off, we got free soft serve ice cream to conclude the meal.

The promises of God are seen in the rainbow over Pawley's Island

Headed to Hawaii
When my wife and I married 14 years ago, we were slated to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Things changed. Life happened. Now, 14 years later, we will finally go. The promises of God are Yeah and Amen....
