A wonderful quote from one of our founding fathers.
It is April 7th and raining. We are headed by bus to our nations capital for the 2nd day. We will be at the Capital building for a tour and then the American History museum. Off to another early start. These are chronicles from our travel yesterday. Buen Camino.

Headed to DC with Josie

This is the inside of our chariot. It's has been 18 years since my last trip as a chaperone. I actually really enjoy traveling with kids. The last time I went to Europe in 1998, I took 15 high school kids with me. We had a blast roaming Paris, Germany, and Switzerland.

It is fun be back on a bus en route to our nations capital with a new group of 125 eager kids. This time it's 5th graders. The efforts of many people have gone into this safari. Mrs. Bedford, Mr. B, Mrs. Peter's and countless other parents and administrators have been in labor. to Here is our first peep from the bus. We are on our way.

We left at 5:30 to catch our 6:00 bus. Here we come DC.
